The Pinterest website was down for over two hours last night.
Pinterest’s relatively lengthy outage was due to storms in North Virginia that resulted in power outages for the Amazon Web Services infrastructure on which Pinterest is built.
A number of other well-known online services were brought down by the outages, too, including Netflix and Instagram.
